Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Sun May 13, 2018 2:21 pm
Otter had never been a fan of drinking. It was the way it flooded her senses, pungent and bitter making its way to the back of her throat without quenching her thirst. It settled in the bottom of her belly and caused her whole body to grow warm. She’d exhale a hot breath and set the shot glass down on the table, begging for another one.

There were times where even she understood its necessity.

The bartender poured her another shot, and Otter chugged it down greedily. Shaky fingers and sweaty palms holding the glass so tight she felt like it would shatter in her hands. She set the glass down and another drink was poured.

The bartender asked no questions. To him, she was just another traveller, perhaps one who has seen one to many dangers. Otter, who was usually a chattery woman, was glad the bartender silently poured her a stream of drinks. Perhaps he wanted to get her drunk, and Otter paid no mind to his possible intentions.

The people around her chattered, talked amongst themselves, and no one dared approach the girl in the bulky cloak, her wings tucked in behind her. Her pale eyes did not bother to glance at her surroundings, in fear of someone approaching her. Instead she stayed in the corner of the bar, silently receiving an endless stream of hard drinks.

When would the effect kick in?

She did not know which was worse. The fact that it was with the old, dirty tiefling, or the fact that it was her brother?

Or maybe it was the fact that she…

Even in the darkest and quietest corner of this bar where only the walls knew your secrets, there were some things Otter would not even admit to herself.

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Mon May 14, 2018 5:06 am
Samael shifted from foot to foot. Outside the night deepened. The light from the pub became brighter and inviting. He sighed, closing the door. Ah. The bar smelled of dust, sweat, and moonshine. Then here came the smell of shit and piss mixing in. He hoped none of it were found in the drinks served. He sighed, walking towards the center of the bar table and quietly ordered.

Settled in his seat, Samael leaned forward, elbows on the table to wait. He watched as the barman filled a cup and a flagon for good measure. The Tiefling did not have the impression of needing a listening ear, so the barman kept his distance. Surely, he didn't need to know what happened with the halfling but everyone that came in looked like shit anyway.

As he took his drink, Samael let the burn of the moonshine run down his throat first before shuddering in annoyance.

He need not to learn their scent. That, he knew already. But he tried not to take in the smell of honey. He breathed them in anyway. Samael cursed to himself and took a swig.

"Damn. No rest for the wicked."

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Mon May 14, 2018 11:27 am
Crow leaned back in the corner, the shadows concealing him. He's been here from quite some time, watching over his sister who is desperately trying to get drunk. After all that has happened he too needed a drink, but he can't bring himself to join her.

No... Not after...that

It was an act of desperation, one fueled by the need to live. He recalled the writhing, conjugation of bodies. The soft and rough feeling of flesh, the small sigh of pleasure, the-

He shakes his head trying to forget what had happened. ...Focus... He looks back to his sister and notices a new bar patron, one whom he was familiar with. Instantly, he becomes vigilante and was prepared to jump in and fight, but he notices that he too had the same haggard look.

...so we are all affected... Realizing that Samael was also there to drown away the memory, Crow settles back again and continues his watch.

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Mon May 14, 2018 1:29 pm
Was there only one bloody bar in town?

Damn it.

The tiefling’s presence was imposing. Otter could not rid herself of him. Phantom hands ravaged her body, gripping at her waist. She could still smell him in her hair and when she closed her eyes, all she could see were his. She gritted her teeth, angry that he had commandeered her mind and worst of all, her poor brother…

Oh...Crow.

Not her baby brother. Anyone but Crow. It would have been better had he not been there. She didn’t want Crow to watch, much less participate. She weeped quietly at the loss of their purity and buried her face into her arms.

Fuelled by alcohol, Otter was determined to set things right.

Angrily, she stood up, the glass shaking in her hand. She marched over to Samael, clumsily bumping into patrons and tables that were also moving about. She stumbled her way to him and threw what remnants of her drink were left. The world was a blur, but all she could focus on was righting the wrongs.

She balanced herself at the edge of the table, icy eyes glaring at Samael. "H-How could you?

But Otter did not need an explanation.

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Mon May 14, 2018 2:24 pm
The scent of honey was getting stronger as the older Aasimar grew closer. Samael groaned, he did not want to stay sober for whatever would happen next. He let his eyes settle on his drink. It would be a waste of silver to leave. He sighed, gulping another swig.

There were two pair of eyes on his person. Samael did not like it, however, he did not see it as any reason to be aggravated. Not yet anyway. "You and I both know I do not need to explain nor are you sober enough to listen to one," he replied, purposely dryly, his head tilted to look at her finally. "But you were given a choice." The other Aasimar too, he added to himself.

There was no excuse. What transpired between the three of them was not what he intended. As it was his turn to amuse the damned turtle, the only humiliating thing he could think of was simply letting the Aasimar siblings near his presence. But the sea beast was not the only one needing entertainment for Fate had something else in mind.

One thing led to another. And Otter was a redhead. Naturally and classically red. Toned, lightly rusty redness of her hair brought forward associations with summer. And young Crow was surprisingly willing. He shouldn't be and yet that pleased Samael. And slowly, the honey and mint mixed. Damn. What the fuck was I even thinking?

No. He would not betray himself again.

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Crow held himself back. He won't interfere, not yet at least.

Yet he glares at Samael, He can take whatever form of sick and twisted desires that the old tiefling wanted. As long as he wont touch his sister ever again.

He clenched his fist, as he recalled what had happened. I dark voiced whispered in his mind to strike him down, but he promised to keep himself in check.

So he stays in his corner, waiting. Biding his time.

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Mon May 14, 2018 7:22 pm
The bastard. Couldn’t he at least attempt to look more remorseful? Otter gritted her teeth. He was mocking her. Mocking the fact that for once, she was beneath him, vulnerable and reticent, complaisant and timid. Or perhaps it was because he took something special, something that had been always and eternally been hers and defiled it right in front of her.

The things the twins did to retain their sanity.

She gulped, and slammed the shot glass on the table in front of him.
You didn’t have to look like you enjoyed it so much! She wanted to scream. The words never spilled out. The frustration lingered in her throat like a lump difficult to swallow.

They did have a choice.

Drunk and dizzy, she plopped herself in front of the chair opposite the tiefling. She pulled her knees up to her chest, hugging them, she rested her chin on her arms and sighed. She was miserable.

But misery loved company.

"F-for the record…you were vile."

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Tue May 15, 2018 1:34 pm
In his lifetime, Samael already heard all kinds of insults. In sex, as if being called vile can change his ways in bed. The Tiefling was fully aware that not every one would appreciate a bestial performance. "Vile, repulsive, revolting and whatever else the Elder races taught us. Tieflings and Aasimars laying with each other is all sorts of filth."

Leaning back to his seat, Samael looked at his cup. If asked, he tried to make things less awkward and awful. He was willing to let the Aasimars do whatever they pleased to him. But they were young and innocent, unsure of how things should be. If asked, he tried to make everyone feel good. He did. He felt it. He supposed he cannot please anyone. Their prejudices against each other were in the way.

"I tried."

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Tue May 15, 2018 6:28 pm
Crow's gaze softened, each and everyone of them was taking this hard. He understood that no one was at fault.

Well, maybe the blasted turtle

He looks at the two lonely figures, silently drinking away thier sorrows. The blood running through his veins reaches out to their suffering. So Crow must comply.

He gives a resignated sigh and darkness envelops him. In the next second he manifests next to Samael and without missing a beat sits down next to him and looks a the bartender. They exchange gazes for a moment before the bartender nods, an understanding between silent types.

He placed a clear drink in front of him and Crow downs it down

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Tue May 15, 2018 7:42 pm

He tried.

She sighed, a resigned sigh escaped her lips. "I know…It’s just…" Otter didn’t have anyone to blame. Perhaps they could’ve spent more time trying to dissuade the bloody turtle. It was all their faults, really.

Otter sighed and called for another drink, downing it in one gulp. It surprised her how much she could actually get used to the taste after several shots. An hour ago she gagged on em, but she had tasted worst things today.

And better.

It shouldn’t have surprised her that he was here. Always lurking in the shadows, his presence was so strong on her it was uncomfortable when he wasn’t there. Still, did she block him out so much she failed to notice him?

Otter winced, hurt that her brother had chosen to appear next to the demon than he did her. She bit her lip, shooting the man in the middle a cold glare.

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

And they drank.

The fifth cup was all he needed to move on. The sex was great, but even with the sweet and cooling exchange, it wasn't enough to make his skin stop crawling. He could only tolerate their presence to a certain extent. He was still a Tiefling and they were still Aasimars. Surely there would be a better time to make the situation worse for his amusement. He chuckled, he almost considered the idea of malevolence.

Nevertheless, Samael expected for the siblings to leave or be in some place far rather than sharing a table with him. He sighed, glancing over the two in disappointment. Neither of them seemed like they would humble themselves and retire early. Maybe I should leave. Because when alcohol is involved, a reasonable mind would already know what comes after.

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Crow looks back at the bartender who then fills up his drink again. This time he stares at his drink, his mind in turmoil. Initially he wanted to appear and sit beside his sister, comfort her and go back the way it was before.

Wishful thinking on his part.

Recalling recent events made him hesitate, unsure on how to face her. Instead he appeared next to the demon who started it all.Crow did not blame Samael, they where given no choice. It was an act of desperation, so to say. A desperate act to please a demented turtle, drunk on its own power.

He cursed the turtle in his head, vowing to at least butcher the next turtle he sees. A murderous aura begins to leak out from him as he recalled, the infernal voice of that creature. Its mocking laughter at their plight, as they where forced to do such an immoral deed.

He downs his drink trying to forget that creature and the events that took place. He looked at the bartender again, hinting for him to refill his drink

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Sun May 27, 2018 4:12 am
Did Samael know what it meant to love someone before he even knew what the word love was?

Did he know what it meant to be a protector with the sole purpose of guiding that one person?

Did he know what it meant to fuck your own brother?

Otter could not help but stare at the two, the shot glass held firmly in her hands, knuckles white with frustration. As Crow made himself known, the reality of the situation sunk in. The humiliating incestuous act with a tiefling all for the entertainment of a creature who she had already pleased.

She almost wished it swallowed her up instead, but looking at Crow—her sweet, innocent baby brother—Otter could not help but feel some sigh of relief. Perhaps he would have been swallowed had he not redeemed himself with such a shameful act. Otter wasn’t hopeful—no, Otter was certain—that the party wouldn’t have been able to defeat the dragon turtle alone.

Which meant her brother would not have made it out alive.

After almost losing him in a fire today, Otter wasn’t sure she could handle losing him had they been given the chance to save him. Whether she liked it or not, in a way, Samael did save his life.

And secretly, she was grateful..

Yet she still hated that it had been him. Otter did not want to feel entitled, nor should she even be feeling a sense of possessiveness over Crow, yet she despised the fact that Samael had seen him in a light only meant for those who were worthy. He defiled her brother.

And admittedly, she did too.

Crack

Viciously vivid red liquid slowly oozing out of her palm flooding her nose with the unique scent of honey shaking her from angry thoughts that pranced around her restless mind. Had it not been for its color, richer and more brilliantly red than her hair, Otter would not have been able to tell that it was blood, that she was bleeding. Her heart raced faster, knowing exactly what euphoric qualities were mixed into her veins and what a taste of her blood could do.

She had seen what it did to those who consumed it, the female tiefling from earlier falling into a high. Otter wondered if she would have the same effects, that perhaps a small dose of rhapsody could calm her rapid heart.

She brought the small cut to her mouth and tasted honey.

Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael] Empty Re: Vices and Virtues [Crow, Otter, Samael]

Wed Jun 20, 2018 1:10 am
Alcohol wasn't enough to drown out everything. Samael pinched the bridge of his nose, immediately inhaling the scent of honey. His tail twitched in annoyance. Not that shit again. He leaned further to his seat, pushing his chair in the process.

"Drink all the damn alcohol. I implore. If it stops you from emitting weird shit--" he said to Crow, and to Otter: "--you to stop hurting yourself. The day was a nightmare and I do not wish to end mine with another one. If my presence was so despicable, leave. If not, stay, drink and no funny business whatsoever. Trouble is the last thing the three of us need."

On cue, five tankards were placed on the middle of their table.

"If the both of you regret what happened-- on me, my treat, have another two of these. No regrets? Drink five."

Then two more mugs appeared.

They were all alive, the turtle finally gone. Samael regretted nothing. [/font]
